Hi Ali, P R A Moxon was recommended to me.
Attleborough Accessories at

www.attacc.com

has two titles of his  "Gundogs: Training and Field Trials" and "Training the Roughshooters Dog"

Like all training books, we each take from them something another may not.

Me again, Ali!!

I know there is some resistence by some to American publications for whatever reason, although I have never fathomed that out, cos at the end of the day all we all want is to set our beautiful gundogs up for the bestest of lives...anyway, two videos I can recommend are

Puppy Development 1: Setting Your Pup Up for Success

Puppy Development 2: Introduction to the Field

by Rick and Ronnie Smith.   These guys are great and their methods really do work.   They use an absolute non-aggressive approach to training and handling.   Their methods are the best I have read or seen and in  my opinion, suit the Breton.

www.tbicatalog.com

have both in stock.

Very Happy  Very Happy  I am - they are very good, fantastic information on the web site.  Monet is registered too and in June he was going to start his training for his hrp beginners, but my op is now in June.  Be warned they are a bit slow in replying on the forum - but they do answer especially when they get to know you! Sometimes i feel they can be a bit clicky... if you know what i mean, but i think they all know each other.

The book that i use is: Keith Erlandson - Gundog Training isbn 1 85310 498 1 the publisher is Swanhill Press
