On my way to Cleethorpes this morning, I drove through a place in Linc's called Stickney. Being a careful driver (unlike those who just look at the speedo and for cameras) I was scanning the road and pavements when I saw a rather familiar shape in orange and white. I turned back, parked up and started talking to the lady on the other end of the lead. After about 30 seconds she asked if I knew what sort of dog it was and was quite surprised when I said I had two at home. It was a fairly old bitch called Fern (Fearn?) who has spent a lot of her life working with Hawks or Falcons. I spent a good few minutes chatting to the lady and her husband, who knows Steve Wright, before carrying on with my journey.
What a pleasant way to forget that somebody has just ridden their motorbike into the back of your car. _________________ If a job's worth doing, it's worth paying somebody else to do it properly

Pull [n or v] An equal and opposite force perpetrated on both ends of a lead that results in the inevitable tripping and falling of the human involved!!
