I would just like to say thanks to everyone for a really nice day.
Weather was fab and the grounds were great.
Mugi and I thoroughly enjoyed our day out and the encouragement we received. Chase too had fun was a very good pup at the end of the day when allowed to run loose in the field, he also liked meeting and greeting and on the whole he did well with a new experience for him, he just found it a bit boring at times but IMHO he was too young to run even if he technically is old enough. He did enjoy his attempt at the water and I think if the entry had been better he would have swum but a steep bank reminded him of the Avon too much where he fell in. He is fine in shallow water so I will build on that and use Mugi as a confidence builder as Mugi teaches him good things. _________________ Sue, Chase and the non-Brittany boys - Brice & Piper. Never forgetting Mugi and Freddy

I have been asked by John Anderson our FT Secretary, to let everyone know that due to unforeseen circumstances he has had to cancel the GWT scheduled for 24th May. John regrets any inconvenience this may cause. Please contact John if you have already sent in an entry form.

I wonder if it could be moved to the 6th June? there would be many people around who could help then and perhaps more brittany entrants _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley

That sounds a good idea - but you two won't be there, and also we have a training day although not many entrants for that as yet. _________________ Annie

That was the beauty of the idea - you had people there already. The training could be for the novice level test.
You don't need to cater for participants - only the judges.
GWT when well organised is a license to print money for a club - it is the cash cow that underwrites FT. The Spinone Club can get about 100 entrants !
This evenings training for instance - £5 per person to attend. £20 expenses per trainer. 1 1/2 hour The club that ran it made a profit. Different business model. _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley
