I am aware of a young male (no additional details as yet) coming across from Ireland in the next week to a foster home in Newark. He looks to possibly be a Brittany Springer cross and is a lovely looking lad and if anyone knows of anyone who may be interested give me a shout and I can pass on the Rescue details of the people coordinating his care (one of the rescue peeps already has to Springer x Brittany rescues so at least they know what they are dealing with).

I'am wondering;what will his hunting skills be? how would he hunt under the gun? like a springer? or like a breton??

mind you....the will to please off a springer, the initiatif  from a breton...

it should be a great hunting dog......  Very Happy

but most likely the bad things off  both breeds offcourse....... Rolling Eyes

I am hoping to go and see this lad in his foster home over the Christmas break as from the photo I have seen there is a possibility he is not a cross at all - I am not sure he is actually out of Ireland yet!

The only Brittany/Springer crosses I have met have got the worst traits of both breeds and would cause chaos if actually worked Laughing  Laughing  Laughing .
