It was unfortunate that so many dog's went out on the 1st run. But that's the way it goes sometimes. As long as we all learn from our expierences and still enjoy then there is alway's another day.
Well done Guy for 4th place. Good Hunting everybody.

Unfortunately the fourth place was not me. _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley

Sorry Guy I thought i saw it on one of the reports on here. Yes I trial but only done two so far last season one Sh W C and one Kennel club F/TR in Oxfordshire got through to second run in latter ?
You might have done OK yesterday - it favoured a careful working dog with a good pattern.
It is a bit of a shame that both the BCGB novice trials were within a week of each other - I know it depends when one can get the ground but for a club now with some aspiring dogs and handlers the chance to run early in the season, make some 'repairs' and run again when things have thinned out a bit would be a good thing IMHO. But it does of course depend on the availability of ground. _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley

There is another Novice FT if you fancy a trip to Scotland next month Guy. Have to say though that sadly I can't make that one for stewarding duty!!! _________________ Sue, Chase and the non-Brittany boys - Brice & Piper. Pets first and foremost.
The Norfolk and Suffolk are running 3 Novice field trials in October, November and December.
Great gang of people...I am so lucky to have them on my doorstep, especially as one of the committee is a friend and always ready to help I value such folks
