Victoria - do you get a message on some French eBay items that because of the country you are in there is an access restriction?

No, I have never had such a thing although I do know that we can read some CDs or DVDs here that they cannot in the US for instance...is that what you are meaning...? Smile
I have bought French DVD's (EB) and had no trouble at all using them with my laptop...

No - when i have tried to bid i get a screen telling me there are restrictions because of the country I live in!  Most annoying as there was a copy of Kermadec's L'Epagneul Breton on the some months ago.   May be it is on the higher priced items?

Gaston Pouchin's book is on there at the moment

Uu, I'll have a look...saving my paypal up for the CEB sub, so have had to resist all sorts of lovely things on ebay lately!!!!!   No, I have never had anything like that come up...you know how it is listed where they will send the article to...i.e Europe, etc, I have found most vendors are really neat about sending here...I just write to them and say would you please mail to NZ and 90% say yes...of course, I can bid on something say for 10 pound or euro and then it costs 20 odd to get it here...whew!!!!
