East Midland Canine Society held an evening show on Thursday August 13 2009. This was a really nice, well run show held in a very good venue just outside March in Cambridgeshire.
There were 6 Brittanys entered in 3 classes. Unfortunately Amanda was not present so we were then down to 5 dogs.

Judge was Mrs E Cannon [Highforce]

Junior was won by Eddie and Linda Hawkins Eastonite Dearg Doom, RBOB

Postgraduate by Sue and Ken Thorley's Eastonite Chestnut at Gempoint

Open Dog or Bitch by my Curacao Tank Calzaghe at Sultair who also won BOB.

Ghill was entered in Veteran but as she was limping due to pulling out a toenail, Eddie was delighted to find out that he had missed the veteran class and wasn't going to be forced to handle her for me.
Merlin was being a Brittany male in the group and playing up so badly that I did say he was going to be 'necked' when he got home however, as I have paid for WKC, I decided to wait a couple of weeks and do it after the show.
By the way Eddie I haven't forgotten that cuppa you promised Twisted Evil

Who was judging? I like to give them a mention when putting these on Breed notes.  Sounds like a lovely show - we rarely have evening ones up here.

I'm sorry you were not there, we had a good old chinwag as well as a nice show.
See you later.

I was pleasantly surprised by the state of the venue and made such a comment to a member of the committee. I'd have have no qualms about going back there.
How long are you prepared to wait for the tea Jan? Buggered if I'm going to buy it at Crufts.  Wink   Laughing

EMCS committee as if you didn't know.  Smile

Brum then.

Shame it's not enclosed, but it was well prepared and somebody used some common sense when they realised the ring was too small. Unlike the P'Boro CS show at Wood Green where Afghans were being shown in a tiny sqaure ring next to the large one the Toys were being shown in.  Rolling Eyes
