Chase's desire to retrieve is starting to re-engage and he will often find a stored dummy in the home and bring it to me for a reward ..... I oblige each and every time and am getting used to him lying on the rug with a 'find' waiting to be called in. Today heart in mouth I found him on the rug with £100 in tens in his gob - I had to be calm but bless he brought it to me and handed it over with it barely damp. I hadn't thought about using him for crime .... he and Brice could make a formidable duo. At least Chase did better than my friends Weimaraner who ate £40. She managed to retrieve some from his mouth, but as the bank insisted they needed more of the notes than she'd got that way, she had to wait for the rest to come out the other end before she could get the money back
