Did anyone notice that Fiona was awarded 4th with Harkon in a field trial earlier this month? It was at the GSPC Novice FT at Launton on 14th. Chris McD told me. _________________ Annie

Fingers crossed for her next run at Launton on 1 Dec. _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley

I can't really say that I know Fiona but enjoyed and appreciated her session at the club training day this summer. She came across as a really nice and helpful person. I'm pleased to hear of this result for her and Harkon. Hope we hear some good news on Monday.
How does a dog a dog become a Ft Champion btw? _________________ If a job's worth doing, it's worth paying somebody else to do it properly
To become a FT CH a dog has to win a 1st in 'novice'. This qualifies the dog to run in 'open'. Two 1st place awards in Open = FT CH.
So 3 CC in the show ring and 2 1sts at Open Ft == Dual Champion. _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley

Maybe Ghill could get her head around that [not sure about me though]
Well done Fiona _________________ Jan

Pull [n or v] An equal and opposite force perpetrated on both ends of a lead that results in the inevitable tripping and falling of the human involved!!
Is there a way of making a Ft Ch up to Ch by achieving a show qualification of some sort other than 3 CCs ( which I appreciate would make it a Dual Champion as stated earlier)? _________________ If a job's worth doing, it's worth paying somebody else to do it properly
