Today I did a homecheck for ESSW (the Springer Rescue that Piper came from) and I took a little helper. In the past Mugi and/or Freddy came with me but obviously not having them is a problem, Piper is not suitable as he doesn't really like travelling and he is not comfy indoors so I was left with only one option Wink . I don't always use a dog but if the family are looking for their first dog it is useful to see their reaction to a dog bursting around their home Wink  Laughing .

Chase accepted the mission like a pro - immediately pointed out the weakness in the fencing so much better than I could (and sat on his STOP whistle before legging it onto the lane) and he loved the over enthusiastic cuddles he received from a family desperate to have a dog. I nearly had the situation that they started thinking of a Brittany over an ESS but I persuaded them that for them an ESS would be better (only had to talk about hunting a full field in micro-seconds and they went pale Laughing ).

Really chuffed with the young lad though - he will be allowed to help again.

Well done, Chase!
