It is with great humility and joy that I introduce Dix (marron et blanc) from Canada. Here he is at seven months. I went to Auckland last Friday with Pauline and Jamie to get him after he had spent a month in the quarantine kennels up there. He is such an affectionate boy with a nose like a supersnoop. My utmost thanks to his breeder M. Antonio Morin for his overwhelming patience getting Dix through all the wretched protocols for this country. Bienvenue, Dix!! _________________ "...amitie, respect mutuel et amour..."
Wow Victoria...he is certainly a nice looking boy. _________________ Jan

Congrats, Victoria, I've always liked livers - can I be a supersnoop too and ask his parentage? _________________ Annie
Handle every situation like a dog, if you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it and walk away
He is by Velvet II du Clos Becassier out of Ululani de Petit Odon. He has the sweetest nature and very fast which I love!! This breed never ceases to amaze me with their adaptability...for all those days in quarantine, he arrived here and was instantly 'at home'...Dionee puts him in his place when she thinks it necessary!!!
My sincerest thanks to Goldie who without, this could not have happened and also to the ladies at Pethaven Quarantine Kennels, who went out of their way to make his stay more comfortable. _________________ "...amitie, respect mutuel et amour..."
And what does Gaston think of him _________________ Jan

Hope you have a good vacation this week.
Glad that Dix is out of jail finally....he is going to think it a bit odd having to go through winter again ! But, at least it will not be -30 there...
I know that when Lani returned home she was glad to be able to get out and do more running than she was allowed in Quebec.
All I can say is I hope he stays together and lives up to his background.
Antonio is heading into syrup season so I know he will not be checking
emails for the next couple of months, just processing and packing for now. _________________ Goldie Coats

We arrived home early this evening after doing over 2500 kms! It was a great week, not as much fishing as we had hoped
Dionee and Dix travelled so well. We had a couple of very coldish days and some quite warm. The Autumn colours just coming into play and already looking beautiful.
