The N&S HPR club held a working test today at Heveningham Hall. It is a huge park with a vast lake. Beautiful venue and perfect for those water retrieves.
Andy Coveney handled his Brittany "Beau" in the Special Beginners...memories 100 yards away, water retrieves etc....
and won it by 8 points against 8 other dogs( Weimaraners etc...). Mostly much older. judge: Chris Snelling. (S Burton I think was doing puppies.)
Andy was delighted and Beau's heelwork has improved vastly since going to obedience classes.
This is a little retrieverholic and Beau went at least 5 times to fetch other dog's dummies left in the water. Even amongst swans Laughing
Andy and Sue were obviously delighted and so good to show other HPR's people what great dogs our French breed is!!! Laughing

Well done to Andy and Beau.

We are off to the Spinone GWT next week - Topaz and Catja, also 'Hawking Jess' who some will have seen at the BCGB GWT recently.

Have fun Guy. And good luck...
Who is Hawking Jess?
What pleased me is that Boris had a second in Puppy last year and Beau a first today. Both Athos's sons. and all love retrieving. Laughing

Owned by Rob Wells; know no more.  A 'hunting lean' Brittany  is one of the Britts in the BCGB GWT pic . http://www.epagneul-breton.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=36709#36709
