Hear Ye, Hear ye,

Spice is pleased to announce that her daughter Kip, safely delivered EIGHT puppies yesterday (30 November).
Five dogs (3 black & white and 2 orange & white).
Three bitches (all orange & white).
Well done James (father)!!
Both Mum and babies are doing fine, Aunty Sophie is rapt and can't wait for some playmates. "Aunty" Lou thinks its quite boring really and Grandma Spice is just proud that the next generation are here.

Cheers Chris

When they're a bit older, one of those corny ones where they're all lined up looking over the side of something. Corny, but irresistible   Laughing

Willdo!!

I like the pictures of a group of pups hanging over a fence too. I will take pics in a few days - of them in bed (I dont think Kip would let me hang them on a fence just yet), he he, but she is a super Mum.

Latest Field Trial result from down here:

29 November: Southern Golden Retriever Club Championship P&S
8 entered and ran (1 GWP, 2 HV, 1 W, 4 Brittany) - Judge: Mr K.May (Christchurch)

1st GWP (and championship point)
2nd BRITTANY - Leaningrock Lairg Castle (Arnold)
3rd BRITTANY - Ch & FTCh Leaningrock Lanark Spice QC (Hill)
4th BRITTANY - Ch Holmbrook Sophie Neveu (Hill)

Unfortunately, it was a very hot day with little wind. All dogs had problems with the conditions and there were many bad luck scenarios.
The judge did make comment at the presentation that he was very impressed with the Brittany's overall and noted marked improvement in performances of the novice dogs.
Regrettably, Brittany, Lady Jane of Palmyra QC found the conditions just too much for her (she is nearly 11) and she was not able to finish the course.
