At the moment the plan is in its infancy and we need to gauge interest. Places will be limited to 6 but if we take a weekend then obviously we may be able to accommodate more dogs if some only want to do a day. Prices will be circa £30 per day per dog although until we have firm numbers that is not a definite. If people want to make a weekend of it there are opportunities for Falconry and possibly 4x4 off-road experiences - there are plenty of campsites and B&B opportunities in the area too.
If people are interested then in the first instance please register interest here, by email to sueaxtell-at-msn.com (please enter email with @ in place of -at-) or by PM. I will be linking in with John Anderson and if there is enough interest we will get back to you with more definite info. Training will be graded to the needs of participants.
Currently I haven't popped this on the website but will email Donald to ask him to post something on there. If people know any members who may be interested who don't have internet access then please pass this on.
For info I am planning a mailshot to all Club Members with the next Newsletter so I can build up a distribution to all interested members who can opt in to receiving working/training info either electronically or by post. At the moment though I would be grateful if members who use the site can help by spreading the word. _________________ Sue, Chase and the non-Brittany boys - Brice & Piper. Pets first and foremost.
Nick is a good trainer. Some very obedient gundogs to his name. _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley

Is there the remotest chance that anything will be arranged north of Watford Gap in the coming years? Or even better north of Birmingnham _________________ My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.
I think everyone who owns Brittanys should move ioto one County then we could have an absolutely fabulous time! _________________ Annie
Handle every situation like a dog, if you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it and walk away
This would be an exellent day or weekend but why not 8/10 dogs?
Errrr, not sure there, I am only posting on behalf of John and was passing on the details given. _________________ Sue, Chase and the non-Brittany boys - Brice & Piper. Pets first and foremost.
As for locations, as far as I am aware it is all related to networking and so John uses his personal contacts to arrange land and trainers. If people know land and trainers in their local area then I am sure the Club would be more than happy to help arrange and support days. _________________ Sue, Chase and the non-Brittany boys - Brice & Piper. Having attended one or two HPR training days - half a dozen dogs is a great number, plenty of goes oneself and sufficient to watch and learn from. 9 dogs with a 15 min run and then a debrief of 5 mins gives you a run every three hours.
One could of course attend one of the various Gundog Societies training evenings - often only £5 a session.
