Conscious of the need to provide exposure to a wide variety of stimuli during this important period of development, today was Amy's first day in the pool.
Mission: to retrieve a rubber chicken unaided
Water temperature: luke warm
Water depth: 2 inches
Weight of chicken: 50g
(No animals were physically pushed into the water during this training session in an attempt to get a good picture )
You've been reading too many books - she can't be a field trial champion till she's 6 months and two days! _________________ Annie

I'm starting the recognise the different looks she gives - Brittany's are so expressive...
It was a 3 ring paddling pool but in the last half hour has become a 2 ring paddling pool courtesy of puppy teeth.
We've added a bit more water depth since those pictures and she's still jumping in and out of her own accord every now and then - tis a nice warm day though.
six months one week and two days for FTCH - you couldn't get into an open draw as a puppy without a novice win and most draws are a week before the event. _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley
