Conscious of the need to provide exposure to a wide variety of stimuli during this important period of development, today was Amy's first day in the pool.

Mission: to retrieve a rubber chicken unaided
Water temperature: luke warm
Water depth: 2 inches
Weight of chicken: 50g

(No animals were physically pushed into the water during this training session in an attempt to get a good picture  Very Happy )

You've been reading too many books - she can't be a field trial champion till she's 6 months and two days!  Wink  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

I love the look on her face in the 12 pic (i think) the one with the chicken in her mouth.

Looks like she's thinking "and the point of that was?????"

I'm starting the recognise the different looks she gives - Brittany's are so expressive...

It was a 3 ring paddling pool but in the last half hour has become a 2 ring paddling pool courtesy of puppy teeth.

We've added a bit more water depth since those pictures and she's still jumping in and out of her own accord every now and then - tis a nice warm day though.

Just realised what is missing - MUD

Love some of those 'looks'.

six months one week and two days for FTCH - you couldn't get into an open draw as a puppy without a novice win and most draws are a week before the event.
