Well, Chris texted me today to say it had reached 37c at the township not far from them...at least part of  my day was spent in the blissful air conditioning of the Same tractor.

Yep, we've been into the mid-high 30's celcius the last few days, not real pleasant. Looking forward to autumn/winter (seems a long way away) and some cooler weather so we can go hunting. It does take the edge of Annie when we go for a walk/training session though, she tends to like to walk in my shadow on the way home.
Cheers,
Waldo

We took the dogs for a run last night and at 9pm it was still 28c !!

You know it is hot when the chocolate biscuits in the pantry had to be shifted to the fridge to stop them melting away!

We have had a heatwave for the past fortnight and today is no better - 30c forecast. Tomorrow (saturday) it is forecast to plummet to 15c and rain - I CANT WAIT.

This sort of weather is hopeless for training and hunting - the wind is either non existant or blowing a gale, and the gamebirds are like us - in the shade.

Roll on autumn.

This is bordering on insensitive  Sad

I'd like to think we'd have a chance to get our own back in a few months, but recent experience would suggest otherwise. In fact, I'd rather the weather we're having at the moment than our last two summers. Give me cold and crisp over wet and dismal anytime.

I'll second that Eddie.  Can't be doing with all that grey dismal weather.

However, I don't envy our friends in NZ and Aus'.  That sounds just waaaaay too hot  Exclamation

And no good British ale to quench their thirst. Just stuff that you have to chill before you can bear to drink it Laughing  Laughing  Laughing  Wink

Last week or so, - 3 or more Celsius...It has been a long time since we have hade a decent forst. Unfortunately we also have fog with freezing temperature. That is not so much fun. For hunting the still air is not much good either. But like the others we would rather a good frost and crisp and sunny ideally. Wink
But unlike you at 30 C, we can wrap up.
The other day, wonderful day with a hint of sunshine glistening over the white snow covering the fields. Magical...and perfect for keeping good clean Brittany feet!  I just love those days...

Them's fighting words, Eddie... Laughing  Laughing !!!!!!    We have a local bar which brings out English and Irish beers in kegs...I know one of them is quite potent according to a friend...he has been banned from drinking there by his wife!!!!!

I do not mind the odd hot day/s like we are having but once it settles into drought mode, that is different...when all the signs of rain, do not come to fruition, that is when it is a bit scary...
