Not being one to blow her own trumpet, it looks as if I will have to do it for her...Chris has taken it upon herself to write a field trial section for the New Zealand Kennel Club magazine 'Dog World". The obedience, tracking and agility worlds are already catered for...this segment aptly entitled "Fetch It" was a mammoth response from Chris when the gundog world started asking just how it could attract newcomers and even more importantly entice leavers to rejoin...
It is a huge undertaking and of course under a fixed and tight time frame.
And so often is the case, basically the work of the instigator as contributions are never quite so forthcoming as wished and/or promised.
All power to you, Chris...I see it as one of the most positive actions in the gundog world since I have been part of it. Excellent content, very concise writing...the history section I find especially interesting...imagine a gallery of 60 plus people, wow!!! _________________ "...amitie, respect mutuel et amour..."
Perhaps Chris would like to submit it to Pippas Pack for the BCGB newsletter? _________________ Annie
Handle every situation like a dog, if you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it and walk away
Chris would first of all like to ask what is "Pippas Pack"?
Annie, I sent a copy of the first magazine that included "Fetch It" to Jan, so you may like to have a look at it. I will need to check with NZKC as to whether the content of my articles can be reproduced. The magazine itself is subject to copyright.
Thank you for your support Victoria. _________________ Home of the canine "Spice Girls" - Spice, Sophie & Kip - and Lou the sheepdog.

A dog doesn't care how much you know until he knows how much you care.
Anne is down here for the club show so I will let her look at it then Chris. _________________ Jan

Pull [n or v] An equal and opposite force perpetrated on both ends of a lead that results in the inevitable tripping and falling of the human involved!!
[quote="Mugi"]Pippa'a Pack is Gay who collates the info for the newsletter Chris .
And I thought I was incognito By way of explanation, Pippa is our 'top dog'. I know it should be a human but that's the way the cookie crumbles. It is not a problem - just wish the rest of them were like her.
Seriously, always glad of copy for the newsletter.
