Another Brittany for the Porter HouseholdWell we've finally gone and done it, I've been saying "No" to another dog for a long time, but just before christmas I capitulated and we've ended up driving home from Richard and Maggies with another Brittany.
This little darling is Fosscott Chantarelle or "Chanti" and its just amazing what a calming influence she has been on Dibnah.
For the first week we had her, Dibnah was walking round with a big question mark above his head, but in the past week he's started to play with Chanti and I think he's even happier there is another dog in the house.
Chanti has to be one of the calmest dogs I have ever seen as the only time she gets excited is for Walkies and Food!
I also have to say thank you to Richard and Maggie as the training they have given here is brilliant and has given me a sound footing to build on.

Calm, a calm Brittany...thats a contradiction in terms
Just watch, she's lulling you into a false sense of security
Pretty girl though, congratulations.

She's Pebble's daughter - she will be calm - till she hears the way her Mum squeals at me! (they never forget their breeder's voice )

Annie,
Alas, not unless we can get a room at catthorpe manor for the saturday night as I dont fancy driving down twice as the wife wants to show both our dogs on the Sunday.
Thats if my information is correct, as I only have the yellow booklet, and the dates are a bit vague, so is it the training day on Saturday and Showday on Sunday?

Shes 19 weeks, hence the size different.

Honest, okay she'd like a whirling durvish near food, but we've not hear her bark one (thank you god!) however she is going through a bity phase at the moment, of which Dibnah is on the frontline.

Saturday is as you say the working day and you can stay the night in the manor or other rooms, with the dogs and then show on the Sunday. And a very good time will be had by all
If Merlin is anything to go by you are in the lull before the storm...just wait till she finds her feet, boy will you be having fun

Welcome Chanti! Poor Dibnah won't know what's hit him! Looking forward to meeting her.

If Chanti is 19 weeks (I saw her and her brother at 6 weeks) she won't be entered for the show but she could certainly start her training on the Saturday. Have you got a form?

My mistake, she's 22 weeks old - born 2/8/2007. I am rubbish with dates!
I've got my entry forms, but who do I see about the rooms at catthorpe? and how much are they?
