Anyone want a parent???Cos please have mine!!!!!!!!!!
Dad (85) is getting more and more confused, he had a hospital appt today and last night rang me to tell me it was next week. Tried to reason with him and remind him that he has one this week too but then he just got nasty and slammed the phone down.
This morning I rang the hospital to confirm he did have an appointment and then went to tell him. He still argued night was day that I was wrong but I did get him to go with me. Imagine the next 15 mile drive  . When we arrived he was so charming to the hospital staff (should be grateful I guess) but was still giving me grief. Anyway, he got his monitor attached and then came the argument about going back tomorrow for it to be removed............................
Suffice to say I am disconnecting it and taking it back without him  .
I so hope he is more amenable next week for his echo  .
Next was the food shopping trip for Mum (81) where she drops her bombshell that she wants to go to Cheltenham before Christmas. Now we only went two weeks ago and it is an all day slog where we invariably fall out as she gets tired but she won't tell me what she wants to buy so I can't sit her down and bring stuff across. Neither parent will use a wheelchair either - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Not quite sure when I will be fitting in this joyful trip in the next couple of weeks - anyone know how I can extend time before Christmas?????
