BlessChase has a 42" crate that has currently has been taken over by Charley while he has moved into a 36" soft crate (don't ask but I gave away my 36" wire crate) but this evening I have two dogs sharing said 42" crate sound asleep and totally happy with the door open and both chosing to go in (Brice cheering as I type).
I am not taking a photo as it seems silly to potentially disturb them but it is so sweet to see how well my boys have accepted their houseguest.
I would like to add that when I say they have crates they are only for night and unsupervised times when Brice needs time out ... being a deerhound is hard as both Chase and Charley seem to feel it is their mission in life to make him play! We have also lost use of 'the rug' and the daybed to Miss PissyPants who - while I knew her house-training wasn't fab - feels the need to totally ruin both two fave sleeping places for my boys. Not totally her fault as her first 18 months has not been the ideal but she is a naughty minx!
