Someone who stole one of my books, has suggested a topic telling what we like to read [if the book hasn't been nicked]
I'm reading, for the umpteenth time, Dorothy Dunnett's Lymond series. Brilliant series of books set in the 16th century. They start in Scotland and in subsequent books go all around the Med, Africa and on to Russia, France and back to England and Scotland. She uses chess as the titles ie; Game of Kings, Queens Play, etc.
I also like Sci-Fi, Fantasy, some detective books if they have a bit of gore in them and books by that author that was nicked from here. Anything by Steven King and Dean Koontz and any dog books, technical or otherwise.
Janet Evanovitch and Jenny Crusie are also on my list.

I steal (borrow) books from other people because I'm from Aberdeen and too mean to buy my own. And I don't have time to read much so like something I can get the hang of easily - nothing too complicated or difficult to read. I'm a doer not a reader - right now I'm painting a wall, training a dog, cleaning out a chicken shed and playing on this damned computer - alternately, and getting none of them done properly so I'm off!
