Hello Bernice, they do get very excited about snow  Even my seven and a half year old bitch galloped round and round and she is usually quite sedate.

We live by the sea and they seem to react to it in much the same way as they do the sand.

Tara, we used to live in Portland, Dorset - not too far from you. Tommy our Breton was born here in France but Judy our Springer Spaniel came with us when we moved over. She lived by the sea in the UK and now when we are driving to the beach she starts sniffing and getting excited long before we can see the sea. Tommy is learning this skill from her .....

Tommy loves seagulls too - they fly very low just in front of him and he races the length of the beach and back. It's lovely to see him running so fast. He never catches them though ...

Delos vom Schwanenberg, a pup from our last litter (Venus du Bois des Ecrivains x Ulesca du Petit Odon, naturally tailless). The pictures was sent from the new owner Morton Loeken from Norway. Great Pictures I and everyone think who tried to take a photo from a black dog in the white snow!
