As you know, I have little show experience, but I thought Chase showed much better than he has at times in the past. Well done both of you.

Thank you Sallie. I was pleased with Remi today. We are both very inexperienced but I thought he showed fairly well and surprised me given his behaviour over the last couple of months.

I did enjoy myself, but yes Annie, We are all whacked. Roll on 2010 Smile
Patricia

Well done Eddie and Remi...You must be worn out , especially after also having been at Discover dogs to help out...Without forgetting your kind help to see us out of the Hall Rolling Eyes Thank you Wink
It takes a while for those great big babies to grow up, I am sure Remi will show like Chase too!!!! As  long as you all had fun, that is the most important....
Pippa's Pack

Well done everyone who attended yesterday.  It really was a very long day and all the dogs were great.  Special congratulations to the CC winners, reserve CC winners and Best Puppy.  Well done for a veteran to take the top honours.

All the dogs were looking great, not to mention the handlers, one
of whom had a special haircut for the occasion Laughing

Also very interesting to see a Polish entry.

My friend Urszula woudl have been disappointed not to have a place but she was so looking forward to taking the family over to Crufts - quite an adventure for them.  I look froward to hearing from her when she gets home, adn perhaps she may come again next year when I may be able to come too.
Mugi

Back to earth with a bump today as I have been at work Crying or Very sad .

Thanks to everyone who has said such nice things about my boys both to me yesterday and on here. I was surprised to get the 3rd with Mugi as he is so 'mature' now but he vindicated me taking him by spending all his day wagging and conning people out of food - he almost forgives Catja for stealing his kong out of his crate.................just cos she is a cute girl Laughing

As for Chase, despite working hard on his showmanship I still have a long way to go so I was very surprised and delighted to win the class. I will not give up now though and will continue to work on getting him to display himself as well as possible. I must here thank Glynis for the video she took of us at Boston Champ - I had no idea I fiddled so much and how I can expect him to stand still when I don't Embarassed  Rolling Eyes  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing .

Many congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who makes showing Brittanys such a social event, I hope everyone enjoyed their day. My friend Barbara (who beats and trains with me) had never been to a dog show before and she was struck by how friendly everyone was.

Gill, I'd like to think our scissors played a part in Mabeleen's CC but we all know that wasn't the case  Wink

As for Catja  Question   Watch this space  Cool

Naomi, so good to see you and Cedar again and to meet your son  Smile

Sorry for not hanging around the benches to congratulate people on

Saturday but I had to get back to DD as soon as I'd seen Moss being judged.  We had a busy day there, with the crowd five deep around the dogs at one point.  I was also asked to take a Brittany into the parade of HPRs that the kennel club activity stand put on  (the first time this had happened I was told by the organiser) .

Anyway, for those who competed (regardless of how well you did on the day)  wav congratulations  wav

A big welldone from Me 'n Fen as well.  It was brilliant seeing so many Brittanys there.
Over heard at the side of the Brittany ring: one woman talking to another "are those sprockers?"  Rolling Eyes
