There have been several calls for puppies lately going around and it is quite good that most " do the round" of the committee and ask questions.
I see there are pups on Epuzs, and the usual influx of" Bringers"
One very nice lady called me back after ringing one of those ads, impressed by some of the Pedigree names and their achievements. The pups 's parents are not even hip scored.
I always add that it is best to get a pup from the BC register as you are more likely to have ongoing help from the breeder rather than maybe the attitude" I have your money, thank you!"
With everything going on with the KC and the BBC program, tightening of health and fit for function, fit for life, it all makes me wonder....

I had a call for a pup yesterday which I have passed on, but she got the third degree first as to why she wanted a Brittany, what their lifestyle was, that she should think of doing something with it to exercise the brain as well as the body etc etc if not going to shoot over it, and I also told her what to look for in a breeder, to go and see some of their dogs, to look at their websites, and to see the green form with the hip scores.
I should think word will get around soon - don't phone that Massie woman about a Brittany puppy - she'll bend your ears and put your phone bill rocketing
