Officially it was one hour and 22 minutes from the first contraction.
Her name is Katherine Emily - AKA Katie. (As I said to Sarah, another 'book' name - first one is Beth from Little Women)

Katherine is a lovely name; it is a family name of ours; all our Katherines are strong, opinionated, informed women inclined to be somewhat bossy though; I dont think they intend to be it is just that they share elements of the suffragette (all their menfolk like golf and fishing; it has just dawned on me...I see pattern emergant!!!!)

Funny you should say that Victoria. My daughter who is a Katharine is just like that. She is so much like my grandmother it is unbelievable, my gran died the year Katharine was born and I've always said she was reborn in Katharine...really scary!
