HELP. Computor playing up [again]HELP
Installed the v7 update for explorer and now I cannot get on to the forum or any of the pages shown on the club window, I have to type in the address and go from that. Also I cannot down load photos on here. If I try and save the forum to favorites it comes up 'catastropic error' I've tried deleting the club page from favorites and re doing it to no avail. Help.

Well that'll teach you to update.  Seriously, I think it is probably just the settings, but since I don't know what your original ones were I can't help. Will try tonight on phone. Unless Mike is watching and he can try, or Guy.

sorry don't know anything about IE 7 - use Firefox myself or Opera both free downloads; both pickup IE bookmarks.

Well all I can say is it's a good thing I'm a woman and can do things. It is back on track since I gave it a good kick...hurt my toe but got it going again.

Yes, quite right too - damned things need a good kick every now and then. Even my techie son uses 'percussive maintenance' from time to time(not at work, I might add, in case his Boss is reading this  )
Actually, all she did was switch it off and on again

Serves you right for using internet explorer. I had no end of problems with it but since I've been using mozilla firefox as my browser and mozilla thunderbird for emails on line life has been so much less fraught. Both can be downloaded free from mozilla.com, regular updates are issued and take seconds to install.

What's the matter, Guy, feeling threatened? Yes, of course we can say things like that - the truth does hurt sometimes. So does the steel toe-cap!

I am the certificated Health and Safety Representative at work and I must say that there seems to be a hazard or two identified on this post; not sure which is the greater; mens legs or steel cap boots???
