Hiya from Clover and ParisHello I think a few of you have met me before at a few champ shows and maybe some of the opens if u go to newark showground
Anyways I am Paris, I own Whalrim Aftereight AKA Clover, just starting showing her at 3 1/2 years old and seem to be having a bit of success, previously to that she was kept active doing recreational obedience. She has her Bronze KCGCS with her silver and gold hopefully on the way (once our training club pulls its finger out to arrange the tests ) Hoping also to put her in Novice obedience competition soon but at the momment showing takes priority, she is just about to go up to the top course at our training club so is ready for a some real competition i think.
As for me I am just about to start a Veterinary nursing course at university and would like to start stewarding at open shows soon, once I get my car
I can't imagine life without a Brittany. I never owned a dog before so I had nothing to compare her too, but now I'm afraid if I want another breed they might be too slow and tame I guess the only other choice is a mental Malinois
Anyways it was nice meeting the BCGB members at the shows
If anyones interested here is a link to some footage from Three counties of the lady herself, My dad (my current champ show Chauffeur) sometimes takes camera footage at champ shows as i like to see what I am doing wrong, unfortunatly I am a perfectionist type

Ignore the little intro bit, I got a bit carried away playing on windows movie maker mashing up footage lol

Hello Paris,
Welcome to the forum.
Clover is gorgeous. I'm sure the two of you will do well.
Yes, Brits are addictive They have such huge personalities
Will you be at the club weekend in October? It is great fun, very educational and, on the Sunday, it's the champ show. Look forward to meeting you and Clover.
Kind regards, Lin.

Unfortunately I can only come to the champ show on sunday and not the saturday, which is such a shame as I wanted to put Clover in the TAN and have a go around the agility course I am limited to where I can travel because I don't drive ...yet

Hi Paris and welcome to the forum.
Don't forget to bring some extra money with you on Sunday as you'll want to have a go at the tombola. I'm sure there will be some excellant prizes, as club members are sooooooo generous with their donations.

Hello Paris
Glad to see you on here and look forward to seeing you both in October. I like Clover too
Best of luck at university
I cant stand watching videos of myself. I have to keep pinching myself to make sure it's not a nightmare.

Welcome from me too, Paris - I love your name!
You'll need money for the Club shop as well - toys for Clover (why didn't you call her Minty?), leads, grooming stuff, handbooks - whatever else I can bring provided keep under the flight weight limit.
See you at the show.

remember I'm a poor student lol I can't buy the whole shop I might be interested a Brittany show clip or badge if you've got one. I'm not a fan of the name minty, it was the name of my cousins viscious hamster, a consistent finger mauler
Thanks for all the nice comments, c u on sunday and hopefully I'll be able to put a few more faces to names

I have a few more vids of these shows, will put them up and then link them on the video clips page when I have some time, I think there are from Birmingham national and City of Birmingham, the camera obviously follows me around an awful lot but caught some footage of some others in the ring so some of the PG bitches owners will prob catch a view of themselves at some point

I hope there's nothing from the stakes class you were in at the National. There might be a shot of me failing to handle Remi.

yeh there is but doing worry Im not putting that one up as I did not do very well either , Clover decided that there was something very interesting on the floor and so crawled around with her face on the ground, the only time she gaited was when we were running back to join the end of the line up

If I remember correctly, Remi did the same.

Nothing seems to get their noses off the ground when they're in that frame of mind

It's the moving properly when the judge is finished with you which gets my goat.

Arrgh!! Know that feeling too... I have tried sending telepathic messages to the judge to "just look at him now" !!?? :-)) but it never seems to work

Don't worry, Judges, like Mummys, have eyes in the back of their heads
