Hunting and pointing training 6th 7th SeptemberRegretfully, due to unforeseen circumstances the ground at Heveningham is no longer available. Further information will be posted as soon as known.
We are trying to arrange ground in the West Midlands - would potential trainees be interested still? Please let me know.
John Anderson asks me to pass on his sincere apologies for the change at such a late stage.

Yes I am still interested but if it is to far I will not be able to go as I have 10 Welsh pups and of course my priorty is them.

My knowledge of Englandshire is limited so I haven't a clue what West Midlands covers. As soon as I hear anything from John I'll post it here and to my email list as well.

Pretty much anywhere between Rugby and Wales I would have thought

Because Heveringham was too far away I'd already booked onto another training session that week-end. West Midlands would have been OK.

New VenueJohn Anderson has located ground with game suitable for a training day. It is at Sleaford, Lincolnshire. If anyone is interested in a training day 6th or 7th September in this area please let me or John know immediately so that arrangements can be made for confirmation with the landowner. Costs will be notified later but should be similar to previous Training Days. If anyone has already paid for the weekend, which was previously to be held in Suffolk, refund or adjustment will be made.
Thanks

This will now be a single day's training on Hunting and Pointing at Sleaford on Saturday 6th September. If anyone wishes to attend please use a working test entry form from the website and amend the details and forward directly to John Anderson along with a remittance for £20.
Thanks

This training session was fated I think. All was cancelled due to those dreadful rainstorms you are all having down there. It's been a coldish but bright day here, and yesterday.

We've not been too bad here (not very far from Sleaford). The rain has been persistent (well, not in actuality, but it feels that way) and miserable but not disastrous. I suppose the mud might have been something to contend with though. I wouldn't have been able to attend anyway as my son was visiting for the weekend.

I was away with a local training group from Friday to Sunday. Got a bit damp to say the least on Friday but saturday and Sunday we only had a couple of showers to contend with.
I've shared the details with john, so he can decide whether it is suitable for future training days
