It can only mean one thing!Yep, down here the days are getting longer, the temperature is warming up, the grass is growing (but not for long), the magpies are starting to swoop, the hayfever is starting to play up and the snakes are starting to come out. It's spring and our hunting time is coming to a close.
I really hate spring with a passion, better squeeze in a couple of more hunts but by the end of September it starts to get un-pleasant or dangerous for the dogs with a few snakes on the ground. Better try and get a deer in the freezer over the next couple of weeks then probably call it quits till next Autumn, gee I miss winter already!
