Jan's picturesToday was an awful day...It rained solidly all day and no chance to do much with the dogs. But...Our day was brightened by Jan's visit to collect her lamb
A whole bottle later and the rain no longer mattered. Jan brought back a picture who was painted for me as a Thank you for doing the American Seminar 2 years ago.
Since then that picture of what was supposed to be of our Ch Toscane has remained hidden from view.
She looked like a whippet and showed a terrible topline. and I was ready to dump it until Janet revived it, altered it and reframed it .
So Thanks Jan, now it can be hung in a prime position.
What fun we can have a with our Brittany friends...and who needs hobbies when you can have so much fun eating ..and drinking!!!

Modesty not being one of my faults.....I will say that it came up rather well, a damn sight better than it started off at any rate Not only that I signed the thing Thank you for a lovely day both of you. It's really good putting the [Brittany] world to rights with NO witnesses

Guy, you would have needed a " before" and " after" The Before had Toscane in black and white in sort of long grass...but with a red collar. She had a " tuck up" which she definitely has not -even in working condition!- and her ears were rather messy.
She is more " rounded" now, the collar has gone and she no longer has a thin body!
Anyway, the frame also is lovely with a green mounting rather than white with a plastic black frame...
Jan will send a picture if she still has it...I am sure!

I still have the copy of the picture but for some reason it still will not download onto here. I will send it to you Guy and you can put it on from your end. It is still coming up as server error.

It doesn't come out as well on here as it looks on the actual picture. The board had been sprayed with a fixative so it wasn't possible to do much without taking the surface off.

Jan, I think I've seen one or two of your pictures and was impressed. Any chance of seeing some more?

If you read my post above you would see that I am having problems posting pictures otherwise they would be put on here. Put a picture of the one I did for you up so people can see it.

I will do but the glare from the glass is tremendous. I DID read what you said, what I meant and perhaps was remiss in not stating categorically was that perhaps Eddie would be able to post to the forum.
I have to say Allez looks better than this in real life - in my eyes anyway. But the photos weren't very good. They were just snaps I took of him myself and I'm no photographer. It's best if Jan is able to take the photos as she knows exactly what angles she wants.

I think it is a very good picture....Even with the glare.
Toscane's pic was done through a photo too, but though her head was good, the body was not like hers! It was done in the US. Janet was able to improve it and I will now hang it
