Jumping for joy!

Here are some pics of Sherry in action at the weekend.   Not really a boast as she managed to get herself eliminated in each round - mainly due to pilot error  Embarassed  still she had a whale of a time, and thoroughly enjoyed herself  Very Happy

Liz, she is looking really well focused!! There is nothing like the buzz of watching a non-collie flying round an agility course Laughing  Laughing .

I know I eliminated Freddy more than him eliminating himself Shocked  Rolling Eyes , my best one was tripping over him when he was following the course and I got lost Embarassed  Embarassed  Embarassed .

Well done Liz and Sherry - good to see a versatile Brittany.  Was it easy to encourage her to jump that high? Great action photo's too.

How did Tegan get on at the class on Wed?

I've been doing agility with Sherry for just on 4 years, and it's only this year she's really focussing in on it properly.   Anyone who knows her will know she can be a loose cannon, and will set off like a bat out of hell in the wrong direction if I'm not careful  Shocked    On a bad day she will still prefer sniffing round after sheep or rabbit poo or want to bog off hunting birds or rabbits  Evil or Very Mad   On a good day  Very Happy

One of the great things with agility is that you either do the right course or you don't - no room for arguments there.   The other great thing is that everyone tends to concentrate on praising you for the bits you did well rather than the bits where you made a total **** of things.

Anyone looking for agility classes should make sure that the trainer is used to dealing with dogs other than collies.   We're lucky although ours works collies she also has Tibetan Terriers and Heinz 57s.   At our class only around a third are collies, the rest are pure bred - ranging from a Bichon up to a Flatcoat - and a wide variety of crosses (the trainer's daughter manages a local rescue centre and puts rehomers on to the classes  Very Happy )

Guy - I've already asked my friend if the Club can use the pics for Discover Dogs, etc, so I'm sure she'd be happy for them to go on the website as well.

I think the pictures of Sherry are super Liz, she really looks like she is enjoying herself.  I agree with Guy they should be on the website to inspire others!

Well done with Ozzy yesterday , looking forward to seeing you both in Scotland.  Laughing

True to my usually ability to c*^%k things up, I failed to notice that the class started at 6:00 and that Remi had an appointment with Mr Stabby (the vet) at 5:50. The two locations are about 30mins apart so we couldn't make it. I had hoped to go next week but that has gone out of the window now  Sad

I've just moved home, I'm stressed, I'm only on dial up, I'm deprived of the internet for any length of time and right now it feels like everyone on here seems to know how to run a website apart from me.
