Keeping fur free of biddybids, etcThis tip was given to me. Instead of using oil (cooking oil) to keep one's Breton's coat free of biddybids, cleavers seeds, etc, the use of horse mane detangler spray is much better. I have not yet tried it.

I use a children's hair detangler - cheaper than any horse stuff and smells nicer

Victoria, the "Tydee Tangles" spray bottle is ideal to squirt a bit on the coat - especially around the ears. It is better than oil as it is not sticky and smells nice. Its available in pet shops, and works the same as the horse mane detangler.
