Mugi

Mugi

Moo is really struggling at the mo healthwise. He has gone downhill since Crufts extremely quickly and it is hard to think he was still a working dog a scant few weeks ago.

I mentioned on "my" springer site how he is struggling and it is amazing how much he has touched people. Suffice to say he has good luck wishes from many fans but most pertinently a year ago last weekend he went to a WSS GWT and met a friend of mine who was conned into feeding him a whole burger. So on Thursday Mugi will be having a burger 'from' my friend - not from McD's mind you - I will get him his burger but will cook him a fresh one with a bap and some nice tomato sauce Embarassed .

Realistically I am not sure how long Moo will still be here - he sleeps 23 hrs a day and sometimes when he is awake he is distressed and 'out of it'. Other times he is Mugi - full of life and engaging and I am determined I will not be selfish.

It is so very touching though that such a special little dog has fans in ESS, WSS and Weim circles as well as Brittany enthusiasts.

I am convinced he is not in pain physically and as such I will be guided by him - sadly I went through this with my weim, she lost it mentally before her body gave up but in Moo's case the body seems to be failing more than the brain mostly.

Sorry - seem to be wallowing a bit tonight and in fact he is snoozing quite contentedly on the sofa at the mo Embarassed .

Sorry to hear this Sue - Mugi has had a good life enjoying what he was bred to do over these last few years with you. Let him sleep, feed him what he wants and just make sure he is comfortable. Big hugs from me and the Monz xx

Sue, we are there with you.  The decision you face in the near future is one of the hardest many of us make.  Everything you have done for Moo has been for his good.  You have given him so much, and I know you have also recieved so much from your time with him.  Bless you both  love3

He certainly landed on his paws when he found you-the ideal partnership.  Thinking of you and Fen sends lots of kisses too.

Sue sorry to see that Mugi is going downhill.   We are so grateful to you for the life you have given him over the past 2 1/2 years and know you will know what is best for him.

Give him big hugs and a cuddle from all of us.
