News from IrelandMany, many congratulations to Sophie Hayes for her success today at the All Ireland Bull Breeds Championship Show.
Sophie and David's homebred dog, Ir Sh Ch Cliathan Ned (Bojo) won the Dog Green Star and BOB under judge Mr. E. Murray. He then went on to win Group 7 under Group Judge Mr. R. Doedijns. We were so disappointed we were not there this year but absolutely thrilled to hear the result. I believe this is the first time a Brittany (Spaniel) has won a Group in Ireland.
This win is especially sweet for Sophie as Bojo nearly died soon after he was born and Sophie hand reared him. Well done Sophie.

I have sent Sophie a PM, I am very pleased for her, lovely lady, every time I meet David and Sophie, I remember why I love the Irish so much, having spent much time near Fermoy in my younger days!

Hi Everyone,
I think this is one of the threads which lost some posts when the server changed as I certainly saw more than are there now.
In case anyone missed them, Sophie entered a post thanking everyone for their good wishes and congratulations. As it has now disappeared she is concerned that she may have not entered it correctly. It was actually her first post on the Forum so really bad luck and not your fault Sophie, do not worry.
