Not truly a brag but hey!Today I witnessed something lovely.
As background, Freddy my welshie has always been the dominant dog in the household, he is in his prime at 5 years. Mugi was an only dog and has had to learn to mix (and ok we leave out Brice the deerhound as he doesn't mix with Brittany for everyone's health and sanity   ) and at times Mugi has struggled to read body language.
The other day we nearly lost Freddy and this quite upset Mugi (although the next day he also tried to lose my friends ESS so perhaps he is a jinx ) and since then Mugi has been actively sticking closer to Fred who has played supercilious spaniel to the hilt  . Anyway, today Mugi went to groom Freddy and for the first time the two boys had a mutual grooming session - so sweet.

......and today Mugi has been play bowing to Freddy and Freddy has reciprocated . They are so funny as they obviously are almost up for a good romping play session but neither is quite prepared to give up all their dignity so they are skirting round the issue madly play bowing and leaping round each other but not committing to an all out physical play.
