Odd dogI had a realisation when checking out my travel docs that Chase's insurance would be invalid for any errors with the microchip unless it was checked and documented to be ok within 14 days of travel. Not had a problem in the past but I am not one to take chances with the slippery insurance world so Chase and I set off to the vet this morning.
As I didn't have an appt my plan was to park up, leave Chase in the car and go and present a sob story. It was so warm I decided to open the boot to let in as much air as possible.
As I walked towards the vets (on a busy road in the middle of my little market town) I was passed by a speeding Brittany heading to the doors  . Quick thinking vet nurse opened the door so Chase got in before me and was safe, they were killing themselves laughing that he was so keen to GO IN TO THE VETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Suffice to say he was cuddled by the vet nurse who snaffled him, microchip checked and working fine, a full on Brit cuddle with his second fave vet and no charge.
All my dogs love their trips to the vets, even when they have nasty stuff done they don't seem to hold grudges. It does make life easier but I don't thinnk the others would have ever been quite as keen as Chase  .
