Thankyou... did you notice the red eyebrows coming through?
|
Lin Dyke

Certainly did. Does this mean you have a tri-colour pretending to be a black & white, or a black & white pretending to be a tri-colour

colour.....She's meant to be a black and white but now she's older the red is coming through..... its a bit like my greying locks, it only shows when the sun catches it just right

Same as my Belle - she's registered b & w but has the same tan markings showing now.
That photo gives a new meaning to 'focus'

lovely close up shot, its amazing what colours reflect in animal fur, black can often have a blue sheen - really depends on the lighting conditions

I wonder if we might resurrect the photo comp? Each month the winner's picture could be put on the home page of the new club site? And the following month archived?
Just a thought to put to the committee whilst all is in the melting pot so to speak.
The web gallery I was hosting seems to have been corrupted - or did i just delete part of the database by accident? All the pictures still exist but just don't display properly.

for want of a better place to put this - I have been doing a lot of training with Catja to get her happy in water - she refused to go in at the BCGB GWT recently. Tonight had her go straight in for a retrieve first time on command. Still along way to go but am very happy with the progress.

Well done! I wish someone had had a camera trained on Allez at the Training Day - a few people applauded him when he jumped straight in after the dummy, swam out and brought it right to hand without shaking even. but the photographer was otherwise engaged training her own dog I believe He had gone in after a winged duck at another trainign session but didn't think he'd bother with a dummy. I was real chuffed

i think we only had the photographers assistant who was signed up to train first and photograph second. Do we have any preview pics yet?
A good 'classic' water entry is a joy to behold even if in our heart of hearts we know they are not always safe.

Yes, I suppose Fee did pay her full whack, so I can't really complain - no pics yet though.

Where would we send the photos to be judged, Guy, if your gallery is corrupted? or can you fix it?

would it be possible to just start a thread on the forum for each photo compo? that way everyone can easily post their photos here without having to register elsewhere and we'd also be able to chat about the different photos sent in, as they are often a good talking point?
best wishes
