I do feel sorry for the young lad this evening. He knows he isn't allowed to be rough with Mugi and so he is valiantly ignoring the old reprobate.

Mugi on the otherhand is doing absolutely everything he can to wind Chase up..................he is batting him with his paws, laying his head over Chase's shoulder and trying to engage him in boxing games. If I let Chase at him then it will end very quickly with Mugi splatted on the floor as he is falling over mutiple times a day now ........................ but he so believes he is still a two yr old in his prime. Tis bittersweet but although he is so sick and he is sleeping prob 23 hrs a day at the mo if there is no stimulation, when he is awake and aware he is so full of life still.

It is so very poignant and sad when you see the patriach diminishing in his role. And no matter how often we witness this with our beloved dogs it is absolutely the order of things...dear Mugi...
