puppy" visits"Of late I have been lucky to have some of my" babies" visit and the opportunity to see how they are coming along. Two have been Athos's sons and some Toscane's. Any little niggling problem can be resolved- ie and mainly no eye contact and " bonding" with their human
Young dogs running around not focused on them, doing their own thing
I find it often enlightening to see people's ideas on how to have an obedient puppy. One thing which amuses me: how some are self conscious when it comes to different voice intonation. lie recall! Does it matter if it sounds silly
I like to have play time with the young ones and not let them play just with the otherdogs in the pack. Anyway as they grow up birds and hunting are the only thing on the agenda!
It has been very beneficial to have owners visit to see their different ideas, opinions, observations...all that is so positive to avoid future behaviour issues later and helps maintain a good relationship with them...
Regarding behaviour I like reading a specialist lady on the French Forum. She has American Staffords as well as others, plus a Brit...
She states that a survey shows that dogs with more than 18 hours 's sleep and no mental stimualtion for the rest of the time will develop some issues. The more busy the dog is the more it will be balanced.
20 hours doing nothing could lead to major behaviour problems.
When I read her I could compare her with Sue, Chase and her " all very diverse and enlightening activities"
I read all Chase's diary, of course, I want to know what he gets up to.
So great to know how puppies we breed develop
