Show reportsExcuse me for asking what, to many will be a question with an obvious answer, but are show reports sent to both Our Dogs and Dog World at the same time and in all cases? I’ve been waiting for a write-up from a show in early Dec’ and cant find it on the Our Dogs website. Can I assume that it hasn’t been submitted yet?

Tell me what show and I'll look it up in OD - I have that online.
But the answer to your question is that many clubs ask the judge to sign that they will submit the report to both papers as part of the Judges Contract. In real life, many judges don't bother. The BCGB will take a judge off the judging lists if they do not provide a report, and I think our contracts might even say that the judge has to send it to the Club as well. - Not absolutely sure about that though. If I am asked to judge I always send my report to the Committee of the Show as well as both papers.

Hi eddieh your best bet is to try speaking to the the show secretary. That way she can speak to the judge & sometimes get the report for you.

Had I known you had an OD subscription I would have gone for Dog World. I can’t find it on Ourdogs website but maybe I’m looking in the wrong place. The show was East Midlands Canine Society. Last weekend in Nov.

Thanks Mick. I might well try that.
He did judge a lot of classes, so maybe that’s slowing things down.
I try to be charitable if I can  Having said that, Amanda said she thought she saw his report for pugs and I cant find that either. Wonder if it was sent to Dog World only.

Nope, only cockers and pointers so far. Can you follow their system OK - log on as a member, then click on 2008, then on E, then scroll down to East Midlands CS..
