Some dogs .............. are spoilt rotten!
Yesterday I brought home a new 'bed' for Brice . He is such a big lad and he does love to sprawl but no commercial dog bed is big enough really. I have a small conservatory and have been trawling ebay for something suitable.
So now Brice, Chase and Piper have a secondhand Ikea Daybed . As soon as I put the mattress on it Brice was trying it for size - suffice to say, he fits . At the moment it is covered in dog throws but I plan on getting some nice scatter cushions and a lighter coloured throw for those few times I can use it too .
I am really pleased with it as there is space for them all to share comfortably and it looks a heck of a lot better than the teeny sofa they had in there before.

That's great, Sue. the bigger dogs to need to have their comfort. I remember I was given an old settee for Hester when she had to be out in the kennel while Freckles had her pups. She loved it and never once howled to come back in the house. It did get chewed up a bit though over the three months she was out there. I'm sure the boys (and you if you ever get the chance ) will love it. I don't think they are spoiled at all, it's only what they deserve.

Not quite Jan ..... I bought a house with a north facing living area so it stayed cool!? Mind you, joking apart the first time I almost lost Brice aged 11 months was to a heat related BLOAT and I certainly will do all I can to keep the lads cool on hot days.
