Swapcycle ScotlandSwapcycle ScotlandAnybody heard of this Yahoo group? Basically, it sounds a great idea as you can swap anything you have for anything anyone else has - only criteria is that they have similar values. It seemed a good additional resource to freecycle for keeping stuff out of landfill sites. I joined the group on that premise. However, the moderator has just replied to my question asking if they allow swapping animals since there was an email from a member to swap a puppy. He said they are happy to allow swapping of any live animal of similar values so I have left this group on a matter of principle. Just a heads up for any similar group any of you might want to join. |

I really don't believe that anybody could find that acceptable.
Is there a global swapcycle admin I wonder? |

I have reported this to the SSPCA - kust happened to see the van when going out with Allez tonight so stopped and had a chat - she took a note of the website and is going to investigate - not a happy lady about this. These groups are all on Yahoo - http://groups.yahoo.com; just found one in Suffolk. |
