Told them so...Janet may well remember the conversation we had about " older people" taking on an active and full of bean hunterholic Brittany 
I had met those older people and introduced them to my fast and furious male... who made a spectacle of himself by chasing a hare into the next field  God knows why, he does not normally do it!!!
I came to the conclusion these folks would not have the stamina for a young Brit...and that was that...
Guess what...I have an email from this person who is asking me to find their bought 12 month old bitch a home...as..she runs off, but has been shown. I really think our breed is better suited to active owners and I would have thought twice about selling a youngster to such a home, but perhaps an older and trained Brittany.
Things I hear: I have a large garden...Answer: they will sit after 2 mns looking at you asking: Now what are we doing and where are we going?
Unless you have lovely flower beds and it will be fun for a few days digging all the plants out
