Whatever I do or don't do with my dogs they are first and foremost pet dogs and need to be able to manage normal pet behaviour. Chase finds this hard as he is so easily hyped but I bit the bullet and went to the above venue today knowing it would be busy with dogs and people.

Because Mugi and Brice fight so badly (although they seem relaxed outdoors) I went with my Brother in Law. Brice stayed on lead all day with David and I managed the gundogs. We had a really good day and only 2 mishaps with Chase pushing boundaries, on the whole for such a stimulating environment I was happy with his behaviour.

A couple of pics of my gundogs, sadly the first is slightly blurry and the better pose Rolling Eyes .

In the pocket rockets defence this is the first time I have braved taking him anywhere like this and I was truly thrilled with how well he behaved, not only does he have to leave so many dogs behind but my WSS is not a hugely good influence although I do manage them quite heavily so one or the other can not undermine what behaviour I expect.

Thanks Victoria, Chase is a cute lad and a real character. I am very lucky to have him and I am glad I am as stubborn as he is Laughing  Laughing , he is a very strong minded young lad.
