He looks like he could be a Breton - do you have his pedigree?  Do you know whether he is pure bred or a cross breed?  If you have a pedigree we ca\zn tell from his parent's names.

he has a look about him.  pink nose, clear white and lightish bone.  Any chance of a 'side elevation' ?  so we could see length of neck, depth of chest , proportions of head.

and a thumbnail instead of the full size photo?

To be honest he could be either so I think he may be a 'mix' of EB and AB.  What country do you live in?
PAtricia - what do you think?
Jim

Which ever he's a lovely looking dog!
Enjoy!!
TOMY

hey, Doganjo I live in Spain, and What is eb and ab?

thanks Jim Wink

Hi Tomy

EB is Epagneul Breton (French Brittany)
AB is American Brittany
doganjo

If you can find out his parents names we can probably tell you, but Jim is right, he looks like he is a nice dog.  Do you work him?
TOMY

It is a dog of pet, he has instinct of hunt, but It is not trained to hunt.
TOMY

one question, Where I can buy one Brittany puppy?, Here in Spain only I see Epagneul Breton. Might he buy it from EE.UU and Canada?.
I would be charmed with having another brittany he is fantastic dog

Thanks
Patricia

I would say Breton...Looking at his face and body don't indicate any AB, especially in Spain Laughing
He is clear, has a pink nose but that is fine even to French standard where the pigment often reflects the colouring without roanning.
After all you see a variety of Bretons in France, ranging in size and type too.
TOMY

I look at others EB and they do not look like him

Here he appreciates better the body and she tongue haha
Patricia

I still say Epagneul Breton. Cool
OK he  looks quite tall and leggy, but the ears are high set, he is not " Spanielly"! He has tall legs, the colour is right, maybe he has a bit of something else, he does not look like any other type!
doganjo

I agree with Patricia - he is an EB - Epagneul Breton, the only reservation I have is that like Patricia, I feel he may not be totally pure, but what if any other breed he has in him I do not know.  Do you have registration papers for him, Tomy, or a pedigree?  We could ascertain his true breed from that. Perhaps your uncle has these?

Not, unfortunately my uncle died years ago  Sad , I will put a photo of the mother, And of the alone father I know that he was Breton, But I did not see it.
