Wimping outI was all excited cos I was due to go to Newark tomorrow showing Chase, Mugi and BRICE for the first time in ages - he has matured nicely and finding an Open Show that had classes for them all was a bonus.
I just can't muster the enthusiasm though - Freddy had a bit of sickness post vaccine, I feel a bit rough and although today I have had a lovely time at a WSS Working Test (Mugi was his usual happy self making friends and winning people over) I just can't justify the mileage, the early start and the hassle of using a car that isn't mine!!
Ok, I may wake up with a better attitude and go but if anyone is there and I don't show please tender my apology to the judge/steward.

I know exactly how you feel. I have often wasted money by being enthusiastic at the time of entry, but when I had worked out the cost in time and money I balked at it and didn't go.
Nowadays I only go to Champ shows with tickets and where I know I'll get a fair shout, and open shows within 50 miles, or champs without tickets if I am sharing the car - like Leeds, or the Club shows regardsles of any criteria
