Would committee members and club officers think of putting a rider into their signature to remind readers that the views or opinions they have expressed are personal.? _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley

Pull [n or v] An equal and opposite force perpetrated on both ends of a lead that results in the inevitable tripping and falling of the human involved!!
As I am computer illiterate could you please explain what a rider means.
I think this is all getting a bit fascicle and all too politicly correct as is society in general.
What on earth is a forum for if it is not to express your views
Before you write anything you will have to be thinking " should I say that or not"
surly we are all adults and know how far to go. Same as the posting that was removed from the forum why what was wrong with that we all had our say and that was that.
Please can we restore some kind of normality
Rider - sorry shows my age up :-) something that tags on at the end as a sort of don't forget.
deleted posts - the truth will out, it always does. _________________ Guy, Ellie, Topaz, Catja and in memory Barley

I agree with Joanne...It is even more PC in the UK!
When you are passionate about a subject, things can get heated But I don't feel it is offensive or we would get moderated...
Try reading some of the French posts where as a race we are more emotional! ( maybe not Yorkshire hein Joanne )
I can see where Guy is coming from... but ...as the new "forum" name no longer alludes to the "club" is there any need for such a rider
