Yip I used to live In Wolverhampton and seems miles away from where I am now. Geez that's such an Irishism! I can understand how difficult it would be to get the dogs and family across to the weshed!
A friend of mine is from Achill, she's McGeough. Do not pronounce it McGoff or she'll lamp yeh. As a poor unfortunate postman from England once found out.
I have driven over a few times but at my mums house the doors are always open and her back garden isn't secure so I'd be afraid the mutts would run off. God you calling it the Weshed made me laugh out loud! Can't wait to go back now
I have a new pup. Some say I have drifted to the dark side. But in my mind that would be a springer or a lab. No, I have gone with my first love and got Oisin.
He's a little imp is what he is! He spent the last few days settling in with my Brittanys. They were unsure at first but the puppy has brought the puppy out in them all again. Well except Finn. He's too 'mature' for that sort of thing.
The guys seemed to have settled well with the new pup. Finn as always seems to be scared of him and doesn't want to harm him just rather likes to stay out of his way. Rosie, who has had pups sees him as a nuisance but at the same time looks like she will show him the ropes and keep him order. Conan, my youngest, was a little off with him to begin with. He was the pup, always swinging out of the rest of them. But he seems now to have grown up a bit and is playing the big brother to him. At the same time he isn't doing the puppy things he used too. Maybe he will settle back to his routine later. Holly seems to be watching out for him, although she doesn't like the way he sometimes swings off her ears! At least he has a guardian in the pack save me.
