This is exactly what is happening....as for the amount given, this guy was recommended by someone in large munsterlander rescue it seemed like the ideal home to both her and myself and also Jane & Rory who know the person concerned and in my opinion, at the time, this was more important than price Exclamation  Seems like we all make mistakes.

Kennel costs aren't a problem - that's what we have rescue funds for. It sounds to me like this chap thought a) he was doing us a favour b) he was doing the dog a favour and c) he was onto a good thing getting a cheap part trained dog.  Thank goodness he didn't know that a Brittany decides the best home for itself not the prospective owner  Laughing  Jan's done the right thing by leaving him with Rory for assessment - we'll get a much better idea of what Glen has been trained for now.  And that is bound to help find his forever home.

We could go on and on presuming what this guy thought or didn't think and, at the end of the day, it doesn't really do Glen any good. If Glen had stayed with him no one would be making assumptions as to why he took him or what his thought's were regarding this dog, suffice to say that Glen is back in rescue, he is being assessed by an expert, and we will [hopefully] find his forever home in the near future.
