As far as I know, that is the title. I've only just realised that the word aeroplane rather than airplane is used

Song was called the Letter by its writer "Wayne Carson Thompson "
but You're correct that Jefferson Airplane recorded it as
Give me a ticket for an areoplane
However it was Joe Cocker and "The Letter"  Cool
